Denim Scraps 002
This is the second work in the "Denim Scraps" series, utilizing strips of denim to create a New York cityscape sewn together with yellow thread in order to represent the glow of the city. Corduroy is utilized for the signage while yellow cotton and various colors of denim make up the automotive motifs.
Denim Scraps 001
This is the first work in the "Denim Scraps" series. This piece is primarily made with pieces from light wash denim. There are contrasting dark wash pieces of denim that are scattered throughout, intended to represent ideas that are inconsistent with everyday thinking.
- Scraps of denim hand sewn together, glued to an 8" x 10" frame.
- Actual canvas size : 5.5" x 7.25"
